Every year the Institution honours the students who score above 80% in the annual B.Ed. examination with gold medals and certificates. At the time of Kuvempu University's Annual Convocation day Dr. Mudegowda Shivakumar honours one of the students of Nutana College of Education scoring highest marks in B.Ed. annual examination in the memory of his mother Late. Smt. Savithramma Mudegowdappa with the gold medal.
